Every other year the Michel Family siblings connect for family fun. This year 19 + two on the way traveled from Indiana to Zion for the July 4th weekend. I was lucky enough to spend an evening capturing some precious moments for this beautiful extended family. It was such a magical evening playing along the Virgin River, and this family was so much fun to hang out with! Read on for details of their stay in Zion and a few tips for doing Zion with kids.

"The ages of our group ranged from 3 months to 70, and we cherished this time together. Zion was full of family-friendly activities including waterfall hikes and horseback riding, and we enjoyed local dining at Oscars Café and Zion Pizza & Noodle Co. As a mom of two, my TOP tips for traveling with children to Zion is as follow;
Purchase the appropriate outdoor wear including hats that cover the neck and sunscreen. I buy CotZ from Amazon.
Go out early to avoid the large crowds and beat the heat.
HYDRATE and pack snacks as it takes time to navigate through the park.

What a terrific experience with Arika at Zion Adventure Photog! My family from Indiana had fun and received some beautiful shots from our vacation. These are memories I will always cherish." - Becca Manolov
